Blender Operator

The Vitamin Blender is responsible for accurately weighing, blending, and mixing raw materials to produce vitamin and dietary supplement products according to established formulas, safety standards, and quality guidelines. This role ensures consistency, efficiency, and compliance with manufacturing regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

Measure and weigh ingredients following batch records and formulas Operate blending and mixing equipment safely and efficiently Ensure proper sequencing of ingredients during blending processes Monitor blending times, speeds, and product consistency Maintain accurate production and batch documentation Follow Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and safety procedures Inspect raw materials and finished blends for quality standards Clean and sanitize equipment and work areas between batches Report equipment malfunctions or product discrepancies Assist with inventory control and material handling

Qualifications:

High school diploma or GED required Experience in food, pharmaceutical, or supplement manufacturing preferred Basic math skills for weighing and measurements Ability to read and follow batch records and instructions Familiarity with GMP regulations is a plus Mechanical aptitude and attention to detail

Physical Requirements:

Ability to lift up to 50 lbs regularly Standing, bending, and repetitive movements throughout shift Comfortable working in a manufacturing environment

Work Environment:

Production/manufacturing facility May involve exposure to powders, dust, and strong odors Use of personal protective equipment (PPE) required
