Hiring Machine Operators ASAP!! 1st and 3rd shift $20/hr. Monroe, NC Job Responsibilities Set up, operate, and monitor machinery in accordance with production specifications and guidelines. Ensure machines run efficiently and safely throughout the shift, adjusting settings as needed. Perform routine preventive maintenance on equipment and promptly report any mechanical issues. Inspect products during and after production to verify they meet established quality standards. Identify, document, and report product defects and inconsistencies to the appropriate supervisor or team lead. Use measuring tools, such as tape measures and other hand tools, along with visual inspection techniques to confirm product specifications. Record production output, downtime, and quality metrics accurately in Microsoft Excel. Maintain clear and complete logs of machine performance, maintenance activities, and product quality results. Generate daily and weekly production and quality reports as required by the production team. Follow all safety protocols, procedures, and company policies at all times. Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area to support efficient production and safety standards. Participate in safety training sessions and actively contribute to a safe work environment for all team members. Collaborate with team members and support general production tasks as needed to meet production goals. Essential Skills Experience operating manufacturing or production machinery. Ability to set up, operate, and monitor machines according to production specifications. Skill in performing quality inspections and identifying defects during and after production. Ability to conduct routine preventive maintenance on machinery. Proficiency in basic Microsoft Excel for data entry and reporting. Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high quality standards. Ability to use hand tools and measuring tools, including tape measures, to verify product specifications. Capability to accurately record production output, downtime, and quality metrics. Ability to work independently with minimal supervision as well as collaboratively within a team.
