Hiring Saw Operators ASAP!! 1st shift $19/hr Monroe, NC Job Responsibilities Accurately measure materials using precision tools such as calipers to ensure exact specifications are met. Set up and operate industrial saws and cutting equipment to produce window components according to work orders. Read and interpret production orders, cut lists, and specifications before making cuts. Maintain strict attention to detail to ensure tight tolerances and high-quality output on all parts. Perform repetitive cuts at a consistent pace to meet daily production quotas and scheduling demands. Verify measurements before and after cuts to ensure accuracy and minimal material waste. Monitor saw operation and make adjustments to blade alignment, speed, or feed rate as needed. Perform routine machine checks and basic maintenance to ensure equipment is operating efficiently. Work collaboratively with production team members to keep workflow moving and meet deadlines. Maintain a clean and organized work area in accordance with 5S and safety standards. Essential Skills Experience using precision measuring tools (calipers, tape measures, gauges). Strong attention to detail and accuracy in measurement and cutting. Ability to work in a repetitive, production-based environment. Mechanical aptitude and ability to learn and operate saw equipment. Good hand-eye coordination and focus under production pressure.
