Primary Duties and Responsibilities Follow and comply with all company policies and procedures. Using traveler and blueprint determines locations on part which require hardware to be installed, including type of hardware needed. Receives hardware needed for the job from Materials Attendant. Installs hardware on first piece and takes it to inspection or certified operator for a 1st piece approval. After first piece approval, change hardware if necessary and run job. Fills out all required production paperwork and records. Maintains work area in clean and safe condition. Performs other duties as assigned.
Requirements:
Education and Experience High school diploma, GED or equivalent. Requires 3 months to 1-year industrial experience. Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Must be able to read basic blueprints and perform basic mathematical calculations. Advanced knowledge and use of basic quality inspection equipment including calipers, protractors, and micrometers. Ability to follow instructions, read, and write. Working Conditions Constant exposure to one or more elements typically found in a manufacturing setting such as noise, dust, heat, fumes or dirt, which may not be desirable. Exposure to noise requires the use of hearing protection. Supervision None Decision-Making / Confidentiality Requires continuous mental / visual application. Little or no independent judgment and decision making with decisions made within Company and procedures. Limited exposure to confidential data such as product design information and work center rates.
