MultiVac Packaging Machine Operator

Overview We are seeking a dedicated and skilled MultiVac Packaging Machine Operator to join our dynamic team in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. The ideal candidate will be responsible for operating and maintaining MultiVac packaging machines, ensuring that products are packaged efficiently and in compliance with industry standards. This role requires a strong understanding of FDA regulations and CGMP practices, along with mechanical knowledge to troubleshoot equipment issues as they arise. Duties Operate MultiVac packaging machines to ensure efficient production and packaging of products. Monitor machine performance and make adjustments as necessary to maintain optimal operation. Conduct routine maintenance on machinery, including cleaning, lubricating, and replacing parts as needed. Ensure compliance with FDA regulations and CGMP standards throughout the packaging process. Collaborate with team members to meet production goals and maintain quality standards. Utilize hand tools for assembly and minor repairs on packaging equipment. Assist in training new operators on machine operation and safety protocols. Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to safety guidelines at all times. Skills Proficient in operating programmable logic controllers (PLCs) for machine automation. Strong understanding of FDA regulations and CGMP practices related to food packaging. Experience in manufacturing environments, particularly in packaging roles. Mechanical knowledge to troubleshoot equipment issues effectively. Familiarity with hand tools for assembly tasks and minor repairs. Forklift operation experience is preferred for material handling within the warehouse. Previous warehouse experience is an asset, contributing to overall efficiency in operations. Ability to work collaboratively within a team while also demonstrating independent problem-solving skills.
