Contract-to-Hire, Onsite Position Overview Kelly Services is seeking a dedicated Machine Operator (Moulder Operator Trainee) for our Stokesdale, NC location. This hands-on role offers an excellent pathway to permanent employment while gaining valuable skills in a manufacturing setting. You'll learn every aspect of operating moulders and related machinery, ensuring adherence to safety, quality, and production standards. Key Responsibilities Learn and uphold OSHA and company safety standards; ensure proper eye and ear protection and lockout/tagout procedures are followed. Maintain a clean and organized work area; follow posted standard work instructions. Execute work orders, including in feeds and out feeds of material. Operate moulder and RF gluer; set up and adjust machines to specifications. Complete changeovers and troubleshoot small equipment issues. Produce wide profile jambs, adhering to customer and quality specifications. Operate scanners and production trackers with minimal errors. Maintain accurate daily production notes, including issues and solutions. Coordinate with maintenance and inventory teams as needed. Train and delegate tasks to crew members; explain processes from start to finish. Ensure all scrap is properly documented and reported. Complete and submit Quality Control documents. Requirements High School Diploma or GED; minimum 18 years old Ability to lift 35 lbs, stand for 10 hours, climb stairs, and perform repetitive movements Tolerance for heat above 95°F and exposure to wood dust/aluminum Elevated math skills: work with decimals and fractions Excellent communication skills and good hand-eye coordination Able to read a tape measure, calipers, and interpret production specs Basic computer skills, including email and basic typing Good attendance record Preferred Qualifications One year experience in a manufacturing environment Experience training/coaching others Familiarity with lockout/tagout procedures Perks & Benefits Opportunity for contract-to-hire position Skill development and training provided Supportive team environment Overtime opportunities Ready to join a growing team and build your career?
