Essential Duties and Responsibilities Fills in for the Operator, works as a backup operator, learn how to run the machine, works with General Production when not operating the machine. Setup and maintain equipment Operate assigned equipment Maintain a clean work environment throughout shift Accurately complete all necessary production documentation where applicable Know basic operations of assigned equipment basic trouble solving techniques Perform additional tasks as needed to include, but not limited to cross training on other machines and/or in other areas Knowledge and Skill Requirements Practice good safety habits and have a good safety record Practice good manufacturing practices (GMPs) Have and maintain good attendance Practice good housekeeping at all times Must be able to work with support groups to make sure lines are ready to start on time and minimized downtime Must know product specifications and how to maintain correct specifications and lines speeds Must be willing to follow oral and written instructions Must be willing to be flexible Organization and written skills General knowledge of computers Must be willing to lift up to 50 lbs.
