Full Job Description Requirements:
This position requires the ability to perform all job set-ups and the required roll changes, proficiency in making mechanical adjustment to optimize the performance of given machines, and the ability to set up all orders.
Tasks:
1. Read work orders to determine all items necessary for given job. 2. Prepare necessary tools/attachments. 3. Select correct film for given job. 4. Perform job set up per given procedures. 5. Verify first bag meets job specifications. 6. Make necessary adjustments to maintain optimal speeds. 7. Make roll changes when necessary. 8. Monitor machine speed to meet requirements. 9. Wear the proper safety equipment.
Responsible for:
1. Optimizing product quality. 2. Equipment care. 3. Maintaining productivity. 4. Troubleshooting any quality issues. 5. Troubleshooting all production equipment. 6. Stopping a job if quality is not as per product or client specification.
