In this role, you will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and ensuring the smooth operation of complex machinery. Your expertise will help keep production running efficiently, minimize downtime, and uphold safety standards. We are seeking energetic professionals who thrive in hands-on environments and are eager to apply their technical skills to keep our operations at peak performance.
Responsibilities:
Strong knowledge of mechanical systems, hydraulics, pneumatics, and electrical components. Troubleshoot mechanical issues using diagnostic tools and techniques, including the use of an ohmmeter to measure electrical resistance in circuits. Repair or replace faulty components such as belts, gears, motors, pumps, and hydraulic systems to restore machinery functionality swiftly. Operate CNC machines to fabricate parts according to specifications. Set up and load materials onto the machine. Monitor the machine during operation to ensure quality control. Make adjustments to machine settings as needed. Perform routine maintenance on machines. Inspect finished parts for accuracy and quality using calipers to .005 of an inch accuracy. Assemble and weld components as required. Use hand tools and other equipment to complete tasks (deburring edges of cut materials, re-tapping and reaming holes after powder coating). Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean work area.
Skills:
Proven experience as a machine mechanic or similar role within manufacturing or industrial settings. Strong knowledge of mechanical systems, hydraulics, pneumatics, and electrical components. Knowledge of SolidWorks or similar software for programming Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings. Experience with materials handling and tooling. Strong attention to detail and ability to perform quality control checks. Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot machine issues. This is a full-time position in a warehouse environment.
