Job Description

Job Summary:
The Bradley Group is working closely with a well-established textile manufacturer in Thomasville, NC to find a skilled Weaver Technician / Loom Mechanic. This role is responsible for maintaining and repairing weaving equipment to ensure efficient production and high-quality output. Training is available for candidates with some mechanical or textile experience.
Responsibilities:
Repair and maintain rapier and air jet weaving looms Diagnose and resolve mechanical issues to minimize downtime Replace or repair defective machine parts Perform routine inspections and preventative maintenance Adjust loom settings including tension, timing, and alignment Identify causes of machine stoppages and implement solutions Assist with loom setup changes, including patterns and yarn types Support warp changes and correct misdraws or mis-reeds Monitor machine performance and ensure optimal efficiency Maintain a clean and organized work environment Follow all company safety policies and procedures
Requirements:
Mechanical aptitude required; textile experience is a plus Previous experience with weaving machinery preferred but not required (training available) Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills Ability to work in a fast-paced environment Good communication and teamwork skills Positive attitude and reliability
Schedule:
Primarily 1st shift, starting around 7:00 AM Flexible schedule based on candidate availability Occasional Saturdays as needed How to
