ITW Medical, a division of ITW, is comprised of two highly respected brands- Coeur and Filtertek, supplying critical filtration and flow control solutions to global OEM's, serving Surgical, Infusion, Bioprocessing and Diagnostic Imaging end markets.- This position requires a minimum of 1 year machine operating experience in a manufacturing environment: 12-hour shift, 7:00AM-7:00PM, rotates weekly: Week 1: Monday, Tuesday, Saturday, Sunday. Week 2: Wednesday, Thursday, Friday. The role pays $20/hr base pay. Kindly do not call the office in reference to your application.
Summary:
This position is responsible for the quality and production of the automation machines. This position reports directly to the Shift Team Lead. Duties & Responsibilities- Operate automation machine, ensuring optimal OEE performance.
- Partner with Automation Technician and Team Leader to understand opportunities for improvement.
- Perform preventative maintenance activities and cleaning regularly.
- Ensure daily production goals are reached with minimal scrap.
- Perform basic troubleshooting for equipment, including re-homing robots.
- Assist team with change-over and/or line clearance activities.
- Regular communication with Material Handler to ensure component availability.
- Follow all safety guidelines. Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required
- 1 to 3 years of job-related experience in a manufacturing environment.
- Must be able to read, write, and communicate verbally with good organizational skills required.
- Good verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to read and write English
- Attention to detail, organization, and strong multitasking abilities
- Must have basic computer skills
- Motivated to grow and develop skills for advancement
- Basic knowledge of machine operation and experience with 6-axis robots would be a plus.
- Basic math skills required to accurately count and record part production. Calculators may be used.
- Good manufacturing practices Individual must be able to stand for full manufacturing shift, ability to reach with arms extended and/or overhead, excellent hand dexterity, ability to bend, stoop, stretch and similar activities and able to lift up to 50 pounds frequently.
