Skilled Machine Operator I

Quanex is seeking a dedicated Skilled Machine Operator to join our team in Wahpeton, North Dakota . In this role, you will work collaboratively with a team to manufacture high-quality components while maintaining a strong focus on efficiency and workplace safety. Additionally, you will set-up, operate and verify the quality of work on assigned machine(s) in a manner which will consistently meet production standards and qualifications. The level for each machine operator is determined by management based on the ability to train others and number of machines the operator can run while meeting production standards and quality requirements.

Salary:

$19.00•$23.00 per hour, pay based on experience

Schedule:

Monday•Thursday, 6:00am-2:30pm and Friday, 6:00am•10:00am We Offer You! What Success Looks Like:

Follows all safety procedures, rules, and guidelines. Monitors product to ensure that quality standards are being met. Set-Up, operate, and verify work on assigned machine. Accurately, thoroughly, and legibly completes all documentation related to the position. Ability to train others as requested. Promotes teamwork by cooperating and supporting co-workers.

What You Bring:

High School or equivalent education, required. 6 months+ of related machine operating experience, preferred. Ability to read prints and measuring instruments.
