Job Description

Job Description Legacy Post & Beam is a premium provider of heavy timber post and beam kits. We pride ourselves on offering industry-leading customer service, the highest quality materials, and customized designs that turn each customer's dreams into a reality. Our kits are delivered to customers across the nation and built into homes, cabins, venues, barns, and more. We have an exciting opportunity for a well-qualified Yard Specialist to join our team in Fremont, NE. We are seeking a candidate who is looking to make a long-term commitment and play an integral role in our growing company. The individual must be an independent, self starter with the ability to multi-task. Job duties include, but are not limited to:
  • Organize yard to allow maximum utilization of resources and space
  • Properly unload incoming trucks and document receival of materials
  • Organize and place materials for production team to complete orders in accordance with production schedule
  • Complete load out lines for upcoming orders
  • Properly load outgoing trucks and process shipment paperwork
  • Provide expedited assembly and loading of rush orders
  • Monitor and help maintain inventory levels of yard items
  • Ensure cleanliness of yard and proper care of all yard materials and equipment
  • Accomplish shift goals as dictated by the Shop Manager
  • Other duties and projects as assigned by management
Qualifications and Requirements:
  • Construction industry experience and knowledge
  • Customer service experience
  • Forklift experience
  • Team player with a positive attitude
  • Organized and attentive to detail
  • Strong communication skills
  • Must be able to successfully pass a drug screen, criminal background check, and prove eligibility to work in the United States
  • Current driver's license
  • Pay based on experience Standard schedule is M-F 8:00 - 4:30pm, however, candidates must be willing to come early and/or stay late during busy times of year.
