Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Carries out responsibilities with safety and efficiency as a priority. Prioritizes the well-being of colleagues and actively contributes to the safety program by collaborating, sharing ideas, and voicing concerns. Adheres to training guidelines, policies, and procedures while maintaining a clean and organized workspace. Proactively identifies and addresses potential hazards. Operate various fabrication machines (e.g., punch press, shear, press brake). Set up tooling as needed. Read and interpret fabrication drawings. Operates forklifts, overhead cranes, and other material handling equipment to safely and efficiently transport materials as required. Understand machine operation, capacity, and routine maintenance. Responsible for overall quality and quantity of assigned work. Properly completes all routine paperwork related to the job responsibilities. Process will involve entering data into a computer based operating system. Work at developing knowledge of layout procedures and more complicated set-ups and tolerance adjustments. Capable of working independently or as a team with minimum supervision.
Shift :
1st Shift - 6:00am - 4:30pm
Education:
High School Diploma, or GED, preferred.
