Job Description

Temporary
  • Lincoln, NE Production Associate
  • Operates machinery and performs activities necessary for the production and mechanical assembly of products. This role ensures all items are assembled, inspected, and packaged efficiently while adhering strictly to safety, quality, and output goals. Core Duties and Responsibilities +
  • Machine Operation:
  • Read and understand machine instructions to operate production equipment safely and efficiently. +
  • Mechanical Assembly:
  • Fabricate, assemble, and finish varied products using hand tools, power tools, and precision measurement equipment. +
  • Quality Inspection:
  • Monitor the manufacturing process, verify that parts meet process specifications, and report nonconforming or damaged items. +
  • Material Handling:
  • Receive raw materials, check packing slips, repackage products, and stage finished goods for shipping. +
  • Documentation:
  • Read, follow, and maintain Standard Work Instructions, Process Specifications, and production records. +
  • Safety Compliance:
  • Maintain a clean, orderly, and safe workstation while following general OSHA and hazardous waste guidelines. Requirements & Qualifications +
  • Education:
  • High School Diploma or GED is generally preferred. +
  • Experience
  • : •Prior experience in a manufacturing facility, warehouse environment, or machine shop is preferred but not always required.
Experience using measurement tools (like tape measures or calipers) or composites is a plus
  • . +
  • Skills:
  • Ability to convert fractions to decimals, read basic blueprint layouts, and communicate effectively with shift team leaders. Physical Demands & Work Environment +
  • Standing:
  • Ability to stand and walk on concrete floors for long periods, often up to 10 to 12 hours per day depending on the shift schedule. +
  • Lifting:
  • Ability to lift and carry up to 40-60 pounds on a regular basis. +
  • PPE:
  • Required to wear personal protective equipment (PPE) including steel-toed boots, safety glasses, leather gloves, and ear protection.
