Full Job Description SUMMARY:
The purpose of this job is to process parts according to customer specifications and production efficiencies by performing the following duties.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AN D RESPONSIBILITIES
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions. Reads traveler to determine the optimum process for the designated part to be plated. Follows the traveler process specifications step by step. Sets up and controls plating equipment to coat metal object electrolytic ally or chemically with chromium, copper, cadmium, nickel, zinc, or other metal to provide protective, decorative or engineering surfaces. Monitors process control of all plating and cleaning baths to ensure process in within predetermined parameters. Follows established safety procedures and work instructions. Measures, marks and masks areas exclude from plating per traveler. Operates manual hoist or automatic hoist system for submerging the parts in plating or cleaning baths. This may also be performed by hand. Racks parts by hand onto racks using racking work instructions. Plates parts using motor driven barrel system. May operate electroplating equipment with reverse polarity, known as platting stripper. May work with substances defined as hazardous waste, such as chrome sludge. Could potentially handle hazardous waste in containerizing, transporting, testing, or other assigned duties. Any other tasks as required fulfilling Lincoln Industries' Beliefs and Drivers.

Six months to one year related experience and/or training preferred.
Communication Skills:
Must be able to read, write and comprehend the English language. Must be able to read work instructions and travelers in order to follow proper procedures. Must be able to read safety warnings and chemical labels. Must be able to communicate verbally with others.
