Growing, Locally Owned Electronics Manufacturer Seeks Machine Operator Are you looking for steady, hands-on work with long-term potential? A growing, locally owned electronics manufacturer is seeking a reliable SMT Operator to join their operations team. This is a temp-to-hire opportunity with on-the-job training provided, ideal for someone who enjoys working with equipment, following processes, and being part of a close-knit manufacturing environment. As an SMT Operator, you'll play a key role in the production process by setting up, operating, and maintaining surface mount technology (SMT) equipment.
Responsibilities include:
Responsibilities:
Setting up and tearing down assigned work orders Operating and maintaining SMT equipment, including screen printers, ovens, and paste measurement systems Following established manufacturing processes and quality standards Performing basic equipment maintenance and adhering to preventive maintenance schedules Maintaining a clean, organized, and safe work area
Desired Background/Skills:
High school diploma or GED Ability to read and write English Basic math and computer skills Willingness to learn and follow detailed work instructions Ability to sit and stand throughout the shift
