Responsibilities of the CNC Machining Technician Help set up and operate CNC machining centers Perform operations such as edging, beveling, diameter generation, and profiling on glass, ceramic, and crystalline substrates Perform basic in-process dimensional inspection Learn and follow SOPs, basic machining drawings, blueprints, and job travelers Maintain tools, machines, and work areas in accordance with safety and quality requirements Keep accurate records Work as part of a team to meet goals Qualifications of the CNC Machining Technician High school diploma or equivalent Strong mechanical aptitude and ability to handle delicate parts carefully Ability to read and follow written and verbal instructions Strong attention to detail and willingness to learn Basic shop math skills Experience operating any CNC machining centers (HAAS, Mori Seiki, or similar) or machining non-metallic materials. . Familiarity with micrometers, calipers, indicators, or other precision inspection tools a plus Exposure to machining drawings, blueprints, or travelers preferred Familiarity with computers, CNC controllers, and basic data entry. The CNC Machining Technician works Monday through Friday from 3:00pm - 11:30pm.
