Manufacturing Full Job Description Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Cutter to join our production team. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience cutting fabrics or materials using manual and industrial cutting tools. This role requires precision, attention to detail, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Measure, mark, and cut fabrics or materials according to patterns, templates, or specifications. Use cutting tools such as scissors, rotary cutters, straight knives, or automated cutting machines. Lay out materials accurately to minimize waste and ensure quality. Inspect materials before cutting to identify defects or inconsistencies. Organize and label cut pieces for the sewing or production team. Maintain cutting equipment and ensure all tools are clean and in good working condition. Follow safety procedures and maintain a clean, organized workspace. Meet production deadlines while maintaining accuracy and quality.
Qualifications:
Previous experience as a Cutter in textiles, manufacturing, upholstery, or related fields. Ability to read patterns, measurements, and cutting instructions. Strong attention to detail and accuracy. Good hand coordination and ability to lift and handle materials. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. #CHE123
