The ideal candidate will have experience operating reach trucks and other heavy equipment within a fast-paced distribution environment. This role involves order picking, loading, unloading, and materials handling to ensure efficient warehouse operations. Candidates with warehouse management system knowledge, OSHA compliance awareness, and mechanical aptitude are highly preferred. The position offers an opportunity to work with a professional team dedicated to safety and operational excellence. Responsibilities Must pass E-Verify Safely operate Raymond Reach trucks, clamp trucks, pallet jacks, and other heavy equipment for order picking and materials handling Load and unload shipments efficiently, ensuring accuracy and safety standards are maintained Pick orders using RF scanners and warehouse management systems to fulfill shipping and receiving requirements Assist with inventory management, including stock rotation and cycle counts Maintain a clean and organized work environment in compliance with OSHA regulations Collaborate with warehouse supervisors to optimize storage solutions and workflow processes Perform routine maintenance checks on equipment and report any mechanical issues promptly Support shipping & receiving operations by preparing products for shipment or receipt Experience Prior experience operating Raymond Reach forklifts or similar heavy equipment in a warehouse or distribution center setting is required Warehouse experience involving order picking, materials handling, or shipping & receiving is highly desirable Knowledge of OSHA safety standards related to forklift operation and warehouse safety practices Familiarity with warehouse management systems (WMS) and RF scanners for inventory control Mechanical knowledge related to heavy equipment maintenance is a plus Experience working with construction or industrial materials handling equipment such as crane, clamp truck, or load & unload machinery is beneficial Previous roles as a warehouse supervisor or in logistics provide valuable insight into warehouse operations This position requires candidates to demonstrate strong safety awareness, mechanical aptitude, and the ability to operate heavy equipment efficiently. Candidates should be comfortable performing physically demanding tasks such as heavy lifting while maintaining attention to detail in order fulfillment. #
