Responsibilities:

Turning on all support equipment necessary to run the packaging area as needed, label machine, date coder printer, case erector, sleeve seal label applicator, steam tunnel, GerNep label applicator Must complete visual inspections and complete documentation during the production run to insure defect free work Load corrugated labels in appropriate machines Perform minor package changeovers on equipment as required Assist line mechanics in machinery repair and/or other tasks as/if needed Must ensure that all equipment is on and functioning properly prior to starting production run, turn on air and all conveyors Must do visual inspection of bottles and boxes to ensure proper label is used, correct box is used and the date code on the bottles and boxes is acceptable Must ensure closures and lids are properly applied Verify flavor and size according to schedule Report any major defects to the Production Supervisor Monitor the machines while running Check to see that all bottles are packed into box correctly Verify case code is correct as scheduled Clear your machine of all products at the end of each run and at the end of your shift Must always follow the work rules MUST always adhered to GMP compliance Responsible to report any quality issue to the QC Supervisor and Production Supervisor Assist in relieving other operators for lunch breaks Always keep work area clean Work overtime if required Shut down all equipment at end of shift if line is going down for the day Other duties as assigned by

Production Manager Food Safety and Quality Responsibilities:

Must follow HACCP and Quality Plans at all times during operation. Must follow company GMPs and personal hygiene practices at all times. Must inform management immediately if they see any issue that may compromise the safety or quality of the product.

Requirements:

2+ years of experience required Outstanding communication skills Organizational, multitasking, and problem-solving skills Strong people skills Available to work extended hours Experience with label machines, date code printer, case erector
