Join our clients' dynamic Packaging Department as an Associate and become a vital part of their manufacturing team! This position offers an exciting opportunity to work in a fast-paced environment where your mechanical knowledge and attention to detail directly contribute to our success. Hours are Monday through Fridays 7:00am to 4:00pm Submit your resume today! Capable and experienced working with tools throughout the day (drill, saw-zall, strapping tool, nail gun) Ability to operate dual-beveled glided miter saw comfortably to make appropriate wood cuts Efficient in custom pallet making to meet customer deadlines
- handling compressed air nail gun Understands how to operate the strapping machine tool Measuring out pallet lengths and widths in order to prepare pallets for assembly Getting custom assembly applications packed securely in a timely manner to meet daily deadlines Fully crating pallets as needed Ability to stand and bend for long hours throughout the day Creative carpentry mindset
- making custom cuts to secure product to pallet Having full understanding of how to package extrusions into Reddi-Crates for kit orders Understands the meaning of 'white glove' & 'west coast packaging' orders Follows all processes when using the scanner Provides feedback and asks questions as needed Loading finished freight onto trucks & taking load photos once loaded Forklift & pallet jack usage as necessary•must have prior operator experience Work place organization•5S Steel toe shoes required,
