Blender Operator•
Assistant Hours:
Full-Time; Monday through
Friday:
Morning Shift•6am-4:30pm Plus overtime potential Saturday 6am-12pm

$18•19/hr Job Summary The Blender Operator/Assistant is responsible for scooping and weighing raw materials in precise quantities according to the Master Manufacturing Record (MMR) and Batch Production Record (BPR). This role involves loading product from drums or cartons into the industrial blender, executing the blending process, discharging the finished product, and filling/labeling drums for proper identification.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities Compliance & Safety:
Maintain a thorough understanding of GMPs (Good Manufacturing Practices) and SOPs (Standard Operating Procedures) associated with the blending area, referencing them daily.
Material Verification:
Verify all ingredients against the Batch Production Record to ensure raw materials have been released by Quality Assurance, have not expired, and are free of contamination.
Precision Weighing:
Accurately scoop, weigh, and screen powders through screens and magnets during the scooping process in required quantities per specifications.
Documentation:
Accurately record and maintain necessary production logs, records, and information directly onto the BPRs.
Quality Control:
Note and report any SOP/GMP deviations immediately to management and the Quality Assurance team.
Operational Flexibility:
Perform pre-weighing, pre-blending, and standard blending operations for various products. Remain flexible to change schedules to meet production demands and cross-train with other departments as needed.
Qualifications & Requirements Education/Experience:
High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or three months of related manufacturing/blending experience and/or training; or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Attention to

Must be highly detail-oriented and able to follow very specific, multi-step instructions carefully.
Language Skills:
Ability to read, write, and speak basic English sentences, comprehend limited multi-syllable words, and recognize similarities/differences between words and series of numbers.
Mathematical Skills:
Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide four-digit numbers using both standard and metric units of measurement.
Reasoning Ability:
Ability to apply common-sense understanding to carry out detailed but straightforward written or oral instructions, and deal with standard variables in routine situations.
Teamwork:
Strong hand/eye coordination and the ability to handle pressure during high-output production runs. Must cooperate and work well with team members to ensure the department runs smoothly.
Physical Demands & Work Environment Physical Requirements:
Regularly required to stand for extended periods; use hands to finger, handle, or feel objects, tools, or controls; and reach with hands and arms. Frequently required to walk, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl.
Lifting:
Must regularly lift and/or move up to 55 pounds.
Vision:
Specific vision abilities required include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
Environment:
Regularly works near moving mechanical parts and is regularly exposed to airborne particles, powders, or fumes. Occasional exposure to equipment vibration. The noise level can be loud but safely meets OSHA standards.
