Machine Operator

Our client, a pharmaceutical and nutraceutical manufacturing company, is looking for a Machine Operator to join their team in Kearny, NJ . In this role, you will be responsible for operating and maintaining production equipment used in the blending and milling of vitamin and nutraceutical products, while strictly adhering to batch records, SOPs, and food safety standards.

Key Responsibilities:

Perform dry blending and milling operations in accordance with batch records and standard operating procedures (SOPs) Operate and maintain basic production equipment including blenders, mills, and sifters Accurately measure and handle ingredients for vitamin and nutraceutical products Load, unload, label, and palletize processing materials Thoroughly inspect all equipment for proper functioning before and after use, following HACCP guidelines Perform cleaning and sanitization of equipment in compliance with safety and quality standards Participate in all relevant OSHA and non-OSHA training sessions Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment at all times

Requirements:

Experience in pharmaceutical, nutraceutical, or supplement manufacturing preferred Bilingual in English and Spanish required Ability to lift up to 50 lbs regularly throughout the shift Forklift certification preferred Familiarity with HACCP, GMP, and OSHA standards a plus Detail-oriented with the ability to follow precise instructions and batch records Reliable and able to work effectively in a fast-paced production environment

Pay Rate:

$17.00 per hour

Day Shift:

Monday through Friday, 7:30 AM - 4:00

PM Night Shift:
