Job Description

Champion Fasteners, LLC. is currently looking for a Machine Operator to join our team. Mechanically inclined people are encouraged to apply. If you have a talent for understanding, working with, and solving problems related to machines and mechanical systems, we provide the training and opportunities you need to excel. As a Machine Operator, you will be responsible for the setup, operation, and maintenance of our Machines. You will play a crucial role in producing high-quality products by ensuring the machines are running efficiently and effectively. This position requires the ability to read and interpret prints and drawings, use precision measurement tools, and solve problems as they arise.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Set-up, operate, and repair machines.
  • Read and interpret prints and drawings to ensure accurate production.
  • Use micrometers, calipers, and other precision gauges to verify product quality.
  • Problem solve and troubleshoot machine issues to minimize downtime.
  • Adjust machine settings as needed to meet production requirements.
  • Perform daily maintenance on machines to ensure their optimal performance.
  • Safely lift objects up to 60 pounds.
  • Maintain a safe, clean, and well-organized workspace to uphold our standards of quality and safety.
Qualifications :
  • Mechanically inclined: A talent for understanding, working with, and solving problems related to machines and mechanical systems.
  • Previous experience as a Davenport or Brown & Sharpe Machine operator is a plus but not required.
  • Mechanical aptitude and a willingness to learn.
  • Strong problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to use precision measurement tools.
  • Capacity to lift up to 60 pounds.
  • Forklift experience is preferred but not mandatory.
  • Commitment to safety, cleanliness and organization.
