Lumber Yard Worker

About Millhurst Mills:

We are a small, family-owned business located in Manalapan, NJ where hard work is valued and everyone knows your name. We're looking for a dependable Lumber Yard Man / Driver to help us keep our operations running smoothly and our customers happy.

What You'll Do:

Yard Ops:

Organize lumber inventory, pull orders for customers, and keep the yard safe and clean.

Customer Service:

Assist contractors and DIYers with loading materials into their vehicles.

Deliveries:

Operate our company trucks to deliver building materials to local job sites safely and on time.

Equipment:

Safely operate a forklift to move heavy bundles of lumber and masonry.

What We're Looking For:

Experience:

Previous experience in a lumber yard or warehouse is a plus, but we'll train the right person. Knowledge of building materials is helpful.

License:

Valid Driver's License with a clean driving record (CDL preferred but not always required for smaller rigs).

Physical:

Ability to lift 50-80 lbs regularly and work outdoors in various weather conditions.

Reliability:

Someone who shows up on time and takes pride in a job well done.
