7:00 am to 3:30 pm 2nd shift: 3:00 pm to 11:30 pm Manufacturing Machine Operator Position Purpose and Objectives Operate manufacturing rooms including preparation, disassembly, cleaning & sanitization of fluid bed processing equipment. Manufacturing Machine Operator Essential Job Functions Must follow all GMP's and relevant SOPs to the position. Accurately follows batch record. Stage raw materials needed for the process. Verify all labels with batch records to ensure weights are properly recorded. Operate all equipment in a safe and efficient manner. Ensures workstation is kept clean and safe during operation. Cleans equipment following proper sanitation techniques. Ability to work collaboratively and maintain effective working relationships with other co-workers. Has strong interaction with representatives from other departments. Continuously trains, monitors, and supports the personnel assigned to his/her area of responsibility (including temporary help when applicable). Ability to work overtime and weekends when necessary. Must be able to successfully pass all job-related tests and certifications for working in a cGMP, quality environment. Ability to maintain a good attendance record. Ability to train junior operators. Manufacturing Machine Operator Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Required High School education (HS Diploma or GED) or one year mechanical and/or manufacturing experience with good references. Able to pass a drug screen. Clean background check. Ability to stand and keep up in a fast-paced environment. Poses a sense of urgency. Basic math skills (addition, subtraction, multiplication, division, percentages, rounding) Basic computer literacy. Must have reliable transportation. Able to execute other tasks assigned by Senior Management. Must be able to work with minimum supervision. Willing to learn and apply new skills. Good communication skills to enable communication with area supervisor. Must be able to read, write, and have basic math skills. Must be physically able to lift and carry 50 lbs. repeatedly. And for approximately 50% of the workday. Attention to detail. Supervisory Responsibility None Manufacturing Machine Operator Working Conditions Dynamic manufacturing environment with physical demands . Must be able to perform repetitive motion, bending, and lifting. Ability to stand for long periods of time. Manufacturing Machine Operator Minimum Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent. Industry experience a plus. Be able to read and write and perform basic math operations. Manufacturing Machine Operator Success Factors Must have team mentality, able to follow management directions, work with minimum supervision. Fluency in English and Spanish preferred but not required.
