Job Description
Worldwide Glass Resources, Inc. is seeking a Vial Machine Operator responsible for operating vial forming machines, maintaining a clean and safe work environment, and performing machine adjustments and quality checks throughout the production process. This position reports directly to the Production Supervisor. Safely load glass tubing into vial forming machines Perform safe start-up and shutdown of equipment Monitor machine performance and make necessary adjustments to maintain production efficiency Conduct routine quality checks (visual and dimensional) throughout the shift Complete and maintain accurate production and quality documentation Perform routine cleaning and basic maintenance of machines during the shift Set up and adjust printing stations as needed Check and maintain proper oil levels in machinery Operate and monitor multiple machines simultaneously Identify defects and assist packers when quality issues arise Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area at all times Follow all safety policies and procedures Preferred Skills (Not Required) Experience with glass vial forming or similar manufacturing equipment Familiarity with automated inspection/vision systems Requirements Ability to stand for extended periods Ability to work in a manufacturing environment Strong attention to detail Reliable attendance and punctuality Willingness to follow safety and quality procedures
