Mon•Fri, From 7:00 am to 3:30 pm Pay rate: USD $ 21 Contract:
4•month duration (temp to hire) Core Responsibilities Safety:
Work safely using assigned PPE, apply risk assessment, safe lifting, careful handling of materials and lubricants, and maintain vigilance for self and coworkers Equipment Setup & Operation:
Set up and operate chamfer equipment per work orders and standard procedures Inspection & Measurement:
Perform required product sampling, measurements, and quality checks as instructed; use visual standards and linear measurement devices Documentation:
Update records and forms (product descriptions, lot codes, measurement data, visual acceptability, etc.) in compliance with procedures Teamwork & Communication:
Participate in team meetings, shift-change briefings, safety talks, and training sessions Maintenance & Housekeeping:
Uphold 5S standards, follow cleaning/inspection/lubrication (CIL) protocols, keep workplace organized, and update CIL checklists as needed Quality & Escalation:
Update daily control systems or machine boards, follow escalation protocols, and adhere to quality policy Continuous Improvement:
Engage in self-development and help train others as needed Other Duties:
Perform additional tasks as required by supervisor or manager Environmental Awareness:
Understand all relevant environmental and quality management protocols for your tasks Minimum Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent English communication skills (written and verbal) Ability to read and follow operating procedures, work instructions, and labels Mechanical experience and capabilities Ability to work independently and within a team (with training) Proficient in the use of linear gauging measurement tools (e.g., micrometer, Vernier caliper, steel rule) Basic computer skills (mouse and keyboard use) Training New hires/transfers will have a 3-month trial period to become proficient Proficiency evaluated by supervisor or trainer; becomes part of official training record. 10210213 Share this job Copied url To save a job sign in or get started To apply for this job email your details to I want more jobs like this in my inbox.
