JOB SUMMARY
Unwind roll stock and cut into sheets for printing. They understand and align business operations and the Department as he/she executes their role to exceed customer expectations and align with GPI business, cultural, financial and operational objectives. JOB FUNCTIONS
Job functions include but are not limited to the following: Drive clamp truck for the purposes of unloading and loading truck, storing and staging of roll stock
Operates the Sheeter to cut roll stock to required sheet size
Set up machine from roll stand to delivery
Ensure that correct sheet length is logged in Remove cut loads from machine and place in staging/sheeted WIP area
Target speed curve for run speeds
Run machine at or above standard average speed
Ensure that paper is not piled under the knife blade at the end of shift
Ensure that all daily management boards, dashboards, housekeeping and 5S check lists are completed accordingly for your shift
Ensure that appropriate contact relief is made, and machine hand-off occurs during shift changes
Adjusts machines and ensures that all mechanical parts are running smoothly
Fixes and cleans all machines (Preventive maintenance and other general repairs)
Operate PIVs to transport cut loads in staging/sheeted WIP area
Empty waste bins and keep machine area clean
Other duties as assigned. BACKGROUND / EXPERIENCE
Prior experience in a manufacturing environment or similar environment preferred.
Prior experience using a clamp truck required.
Experience operating hand jacks, electric pallet jacks and forklifts preferred.

LANGUAGE SKILLS
•Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of organization. Bilingual in English/Spanish is a plus. MATHEMATICAL SKILLS
•Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs. REASONING ABILITY
•Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form. CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS
•Company issued Fork Truck Operator's License; Company issued Clamp Truck Operator's License EDUCATION / KNOWLEDGE
High School Diploma, GED or equivalent required. ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS SCHEDULE REQUIREMENTS
Schedules can be up to 12-hour shifts Mondays•Sundays (particularly if mode/continuous run schedule). However, employees must have the ability to work alternate schedules and overtime that may include early mornings, nights, and/or weekends for coverage and be punctual while doing so. PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
Standing continuously, depending on changing job assignment, for extended periods. Awkward and/or repetitive movements
Ability to squat, reach above shoulder and walk frequently
Ability to bend/stoop, climb, reach at waist or lower, twist, stretch, carry, kneel, grasp, fingering, crouching, and push/pull (force up to 38 lbs.) occasionally
Lift up to 50 lbs. occasionally Requires use of both feet on a continuous basis
Requires use of both hands for simple grasping, firm grasping, fine manipulation and repetitive actions on a continuous basis
Ability to read, write, hear, see, speak and have agility on a continuous basis
Reading computer screen or other electronic devices
Use of various hand and electrical tools and equipment
Work in areas of fluctuating temperature and loud noises
