Machine Operator (Onsite)

About the Position RTX Recycling LLC is seeking a reliable and hardworking Machine Operator(s) to join our operations team. This role involves operating and maintaining machinery used in recycling and processing operations. The Machine Operator plays a critical role in ensuring equipment runs efficiently, production targets are met, and safety standards are strictly followed. The ideal candidate is attentive, safety-conscious, and comfortable working in an industrial environment. Experience with heavy machinery or recycling equipment is preferred but not required. Training will be provided for motivated candidates willing to learn and grow with the company.

Key Responsibilities:

Machine Operations Operate recycling and processing machinery according to established procedures and safety guidelines. Monitor machine performance and make adjustments to ensure efficient operation. Load raw materials and remove finished materials from machines as required. Equipment Maintenance Perform routine inspections and basic maintenance of machinery to ensure optimal performance. Identify and report mechanical issues or equipment malfunctions to supervisors. Keep machines and surrounding work areas clean and organized. Production & Quality Control Follow production schedules and ensure processing targets are met. Inspect processed materials to ensure quality standards are maintained. Record production data and maintain operational logs when required. Safety & Compliance Follow all workplace safety procedures and wear required protective equipment. Maintain a safe working environment by adhering to operational guidelines. Participate in safety trainings and operational briefings as required. Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent preferred. Ability to operate or learn to operate industrial machinery. Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety. Ability to lift heavy materials and stand for extended periods. Prior experience in manufacturing, recycling, or machinery operation is a plus.
