Job Summary:

Urban Wellness is seeking a meticulous and detail-oriented Cannabis Packaging Technician to join our team in New Mexico. The Cannabis Packaging Technician will be responsible for packaging cannabis products according to company standards and ensuring compliance with state regulations. This role requires a keen eye for detail, strong organizational skills, and a commitment to maintaining the highest standards of product quality and safety.

Key Responsibilities:

Packaging:

Package cannabis flower, concentrates, edibles, and other products according to company standards and in compliance with state regulations.

Labeling:

Apply accurate labels to packaged products, including product information, potency, and required warnings.

Quality Control:

Inspect packaged products for quality and consistency, ensuring they meet the highest standards of quality and appearance.

Compliance:

Ensure full compliance with all state and local regulations regarding cannabis packaging, including proper labeling and record-keeping.

Inventory Management:

Assist in monitoring packaging supply levels and notifying management of any shortages or discrepancies.

Equipment Operation:

Operate packaging equipment, such as heat sealers, labelers, and scales, in a safe and efficient manner.

Cleaning and Sanitation:

Maintain cleanliness and organization of the packaging area, including cleaning equipment and workspaces as needed.

Team Collaboration:

Work closely with other members of the packaging team to ensure efficient and accurate packaging operations.

Health & Safety:

Adhere to all health and safety guidelines and protocols to maintain a safe working environment.

Qualifications:

Experience:

Previous experience in packaging operations or a related field is preferred but not required. Attention to

Excellent attention to detail and ability to perform repetitive tasks with precision.

Organizational Skills:

Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.

Teamwork:

Ability to work effectively as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.

Education:

High school diploma or equivalent required.

Physical Requirements:

Ability to perform physical labor, including standing for extended periods, bending, and lifting up to 50 pounds.
