Machine Operator

Achieve more with Volt Volt is immediately hiring for Machine Operator in Albuquerque, NM As a Machine Operator you will: Be moving loose or bundled pipe within the shop and yard. Be assembling pipe orders (single sticks or bundles) and maintaining organized work supplies. Be following safety precautions for fabricating, cutting, assembling, stacking, and shipping pipe. Be operating powered industrial equipment per OSHA guidelines and procedures. Be setting up and maintaining machines for pipe fabrication. Be measuring, recording, and adding random pipe lengths accurately. Be measuring and cutting pipe using band saws or torches. Be threading and bevelling pipe using Landis machines, inspecting and maintaining forklift equipment. This is a full-time contract opportunity.

The ideal candidate will have:

6-8 months experience machinery, band saws, automatic welding machines. Experience in using tape measure, and gauges for quality checks. 6-8 months experience in mechanical background

Preferred Skills and Qualifications:

Experience with machinery for cutting and threading pipe. Experience in fire sprinkler pipe fabrication. Experience with machinery such as pipe threaders, band saws, roll groove machines, plasma cutting, automatic welding machines, and pneumatic banders.

Pay Rate:

$19.00 - $21.50per hour •Pay range offered to a successful candidate will be based on several factors, including the candidate's education, work experience, work location, specific job duties, certifications, etc. Qualified candidates should
