Full Job Description Pay:

$21.00 - $22.00 per hour Job description: American Assay Laboratories (AAL) is an independent, full-service, geochemical analytical testing laboratory. We are currently hiring for Sample Prep Technicians - swing shift. We are seeking enthusiastic, new team members to join our company with the following qualifications: Unloading, sorting, splitting, sieving, transferring and drying of large mining samples Able to execute and perform crushing, pulverizing and screening of large mining samples per Standard Operating Procedures Lift up to 50 pounds Observe established safety regulations and comply with all company health and safety policies and procedures

Physical Demands:

Ability to stand for long periods of time Ability to work in a dusty environment Manual dexterity to perform repetitive tasks Ability to lift up to 50lbs Be cleanly-shaven in order to wear protective equipment May included overtime, weekends and holiday depending on business need The ideal candidate would have: Must be able to read, understand and follow work instructions in a safe, accurate and timely manner Candidates must demonstrate good verbal and written communication skills Good hand-eye coordination; Good organizational skills; Ability to work independently or as part of a team; Basic alpha/numeric comprehension; Basic English communication skills (written and verbal).
