Temp to Hire Job Purpose Work safely in a warehouse environment. Receive and process incoming and outgoing products, maintain the organization of the warehouse. Demonstrate Cintas culture, strong work ethics, goal attainment and attention to detail. Responsibilities Daily Responsibilities Receive in truck from vendors and put away boxes. Prioritize orders to be moved. Locate and move products to designated areas by using a stock picker, reach truck, and/or forklift. Use Inventory Management Systems to record amounts of product, confirm orders, and quantities utilized. Perform weekly cycle counts. Sweep and clean up work area at the end of shift. Quality Consistently meet or exceed the departmental quality requirements. Maintenance Communicate any equipment problems to Maintenance immediately. Perform daily preventative maintenance on machines. Safety, Health and Environment Operates in accordance with policies and rules. Maintain a clean working environment free of safety hazards and operates in accordance with all policies and procedures. 1.
Equipment:
Complete necessary housekeeping on equipment in assigned areas. 2.
Organization:
Place all supplies and equipment in their designated areas. Ensure no personal items are left in the workstations. All other Duties Perform all other duties as assigned, including carrying out responsibilities, performing duties, using skills, and working in conditions necessary to perform all assigned tasks. Technical Skills Computer skills Basic computer skills to operate machines. Health and Safety Applies elementary concepts under supervision to manage and apply safe systems at work. Policy and procedures Works under supervision at an elementary level to follow and understand policies and procedures. Production Quality Works with guidance (but not constant supervision) to ensure that all products leaving the Distribution Center are high-quality. Ensure customer receives accurate products. Lifting and Walking Must be able to stand/walk for 8 to 10 hours. Must be able to lift up to 50lbs. Must be able to operate heavy machinery. Maintain a clean working environment free of safety hazards. Verbal Communication Uses clear and effective verbal communication skills without supervision. Basic minimum language communication skills in speaking and understanding English. Education General Education High School diploma or GED preferred. Experience General Experience Production and teamwork environment preferred. Prior stock picker, reach truck, or forklift experience preferred. Managerial Experience None Additional Information Attendance is an essential function of the job.
