Tasks are generally repetitive and includes press operations and other manual tasks by hand depending on area assigned. Work safely to prevent on-the-job injuries by following company and OSHA safety rules and regulations, understanding machine safeguards, recognizing and reporting safety hazards, and wearing require PPE. Perform various types of press operations, or other manual tasks by hand per verbal work instructions to produce quality parts while maintaining productivity standards. Inspect product for quality using go/no-go gauge and/or visual inspections. Inform supervision of any production or quality problems. Maintain minimum standard rate Report accurate count of production parts, scrap, and labor hours by completing required paperwork. Keep work area in clean and orderly condition, complying with established 6S standards. Cross-train by rotating to different machines and work areas as required. Perform all other duties as assigned. Qualifications High School Diploma (GED) is preferred. Must be familiar with OSHA regulations and have the ability to work well with others. Physical Demand Requirements Sitting, standing, walking up to 10 hours per day (can rotate), bending/twisting neck up to 2 hours per day (interruptive), bending/twisting waist up to 2 hours per day (interruptive), hand movement, up to 10 hours per day (repetitive), arm movement up to 10 hours per day (repetitive), pushing/pulling weight (assisted), up to 2 hours per day (interruptive), and lifting weight, up to 45 pounds, up to 2 hours per day (interruptive).
