Job Description

Big Ditch Brewing Company is seeking a Lead Packaging Technician to join our brewery operations staff. The primary responsibilities of this position will be packaging our beer for sale and distribution. This position is also responsible for safety, quality, performance, and teamwork within our brewery operation.
Duties:
Operates packaging equipment including canning and kegging equipment. Cleans and sanitizes production equipment. Perform daily clean-up, maintenance, and organization of the manufacturing area. Adheres to all regulations, including the proper usage of PPE as well as Standard Operating Procedures.
Qualifications:
Two to five years of relevant experience operating a packaging line. Mechanically inclined with demonstrated ability to analyze, troubleshoot and solve problems. Formal education, a degree in brewery operations, or homebrewing experience is a plus. Works well both independently and cooperatively with others. Must be detail oriented and quality focused. Must be willing to work in a fast-paced, team oriented, and fun environment. Must be able to lift 50 pounds.
