Job Title:
Machine Operator Pay:
$18/hr Job Description This role focuses on operating stamping machines to produce high‑quality filtration mesh products for the medical, pharmaceutical, and automotive industries. You will review blueprints, load and monitor machines, inspect finished parts, and document production results while maintaining safety and quality standards. Positions are available on first shift (7:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m., Monday through Friday) and second shift (3:30 p.m. to 12:00 a.m., Monday through Friday). Responsibilities Review blueprints and job specifications before each production run to understand requirements and tolerances. Set up and load materials into stamping machines accurately and efficiently at the start of each run. Monitor machine alignment, cutting, and overall performance throughout the shift to ensure consistent operation. Inspect finished parts visually and with measuring tools to verify that they meet quality and dimensional standards. Measure outputs and document production results clearly and accurately according to company procedures. Pack completed products safely and correctly, preparing them for the next stage of the process or shipment. Maintain a clean, organized, and safe workstation throughout the shift. Follow all safety procedures, including proper use of personal protective equipment and safe machine‑handling practices. Perform repetitive tasks with sustained focus and attention to detail. Collaborate with team members and trainers, taking direction and asking questions to continuously improve performance. Essential Skills Ability to read and interpret blueprints accurately. Proven reliability with consistent attendance and strong work ethic. Strong attention to detail when monitoring machines and inspecting products. Comfort operating machinery and following established safety procedures. Ability to stand, walk, and operate machinery for an entire shift. Ability to lift, move, and position materials as needed throughout the production process. Capability to maintain focus while performing repetitive tasks in a production environment. Basic measuring and documentation skills to record production results accurately. Additional Skills & Qualifications Previous manufacturing experience is helpful but not required. Experience with machine operation, inspection, and packing in a production setting is an advantage. Familiarity with measuring tools and documentation in a manufacturing environment. Detail‑driven and dependable approach to monitoring machines and inspecting parts. Positive, team‑oriented attitude with a willingness to learn and take direction. Comfort working in a clean room or controlled production environment as operations expand. Why Work Here? Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $19.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
