MACHINE OPERATOR

Adecco has partnered with a client in Highland NY and is looking for a machine operator.

Job Summary:

Operate machinery for making lighting fixtures in a manufacturing environment.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• The ability to use appropriate measuring instruments to the task.
• The ability to operate hand tools.
• The ability to operate a variety of machines in the factory including sheet metal punching and forming, drilling, tapping, cutting, bending etc.
• Strive to meet planned work center times in ERP system.
• The ability to interface with other departments to aplish tasks.
• The ability tomunicate professionally.
• Maintain a clean work area as required.
• Working ability to all applicable safety requirements toply with regulatory agencies.
• Performs ERP transactions accurately topany policies and procedures.

Job Knowledge and Skills:

• Minimum two years machine shop experience
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to read and interpret blue s and schematics
• Familiarity with manufacturing processes.
• Ability to read, write and speak English fluently

Supervisory Responsibilities:

None

Physical Demands:

• Ability to use hands to finger, handle, or feel.
• Ability to frequently stand, walk, reach within hands and arms length, stoop, kneel, and crouch.
• Ability to regularly lift and/or move up to 25 pounds, occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
• Specific vision requirements include close vision.

Pay Details:
