Machine Operator

About us Acorn Products Corp is a small business in Ilion, NY. We are professional, agile, customer-centric and our goal is to continuously grow our business, and our team oriented community that we have in both of our plant locations. We are looking to hire in both our Ilion Plant and Oriskany Plant.

Responsibilities:

Machine Operation:

Operate injection molding machines to produce plastic parts according to established specifications and quality standards. Monitor the production process, focusing on the output of finished products.

Quality Assurance:

Conduct regular inspections of molded parts to ensure they meet predetermined quality criteria. Notify appropriate personnel of any deviations from quality standards and assist in troubleshooting if necessary.

Process Monitoring:

Keep a close eye on the injection molding machines, ensuring they run smoothly and make adjustments as needed for optimal performance. Record production data, including quantities produced and any issues encountered during the process.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Previous experience as an Injection Molding Machine Operator is preferred but not required.
• Basic understanding of injection molding processes and equipment.
• Attention to detail and a commitment to producing high-quality products.
• Ability to follow instructions and work collaboratively in a team environment.
• Good communication skills to report any issues or deviations promptly
