Machine Operator (Entry Level)

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Machine Operator to join our production team in Brooklyn. This is an entry-level position, but we are looking for candidates who have a foundational understanding of machinery and a "safety-first" mindset. You will be responsible for the setup, operation, and basic maintenance of production equipment to ensure we meet our daily output goals.

Key Responsibilities Machine Operation:

Set up, start, and monitor machinery to ensure smooth production runs.

Quality Control:

Perform regular inspections of finished products to ensure they meet company specifications and quality standards.

Troubleshooting:

Identify and report any mechanical issues or inconsistencies in the production process.

Maintenance:

Perform basic cleaning and preventative maintenance on equipment to minimize downtime.

Documentation:

Maintain accurate logs of production numbers, material usage, and any incidents.

Safety:

Adhere to all OSHA and company safety protocols, including the use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).

salary:

$19.9 - $27 per hourshift: Secondwork hours: 3 PM - 11

High SchoolResponsibilitiesRequirements & Physical Demands Experience:

Previous experience operating industrial machinery is required.

Preferred Skills:

Experience with Flexographic, printing, lamination, or packing machines is highly encouraged and will be prioritized.

Physical Stamina:

Must be able to stand and move for the full 8-hour shift.

Lifting:

Must be able to comfortably lift and carry up to 50 lbs.

Reliability:

Consistent attendance for the 3 PM - 11 PM shift is essential.

Flexibility:

Ability to work occasional overtime based on production demands. Skills Needed Mechanical aptitude and manual dexterity. Ability to read and interpret technical manuals or instructions.
