• Full-time We are seeking a hands-on, mechanically capable operator who wants more than a typical production job.

This is an opportunity to be one of the first employees in a new manufacturing operation and help build the plant, culture, systems, and success of the business from the ground up. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys learning multiple machines, solving problems, taking ownership, and growing into larger responsibilities as the operation expands. The right person will help install equipment, learn processes, run production, improve workflows, and become a key long-term member of the team. Key Responsibilities Learn to operate multiple pieces of production equipment across the facility including double twist cabler, drum twist cabler, armoring, and/or extrusion. Assist with startup, commissioning, and early production ramp-up activities. Help set up workstations, tooling, material flow, production processes, test processes. Perform machine setups, adjustments, troubleshooting, and changeovers. Run equipment safely while meeting quality and productivity targets. Identify problems early and help develop practical solutions. Support preventative maintenance and coordinate with outside technicians/OEMs during startup. Maintain organized, clean, and safe work areas. Help create standard work instructions and best practices as operations grow. Cross-train in multiple areas and support wherever needed. Assist with training future hires as the team expands. Bring ideas, energy, and ownership mentality every day. What We're Looking For Strong mechanical aptitude; enjoys machines and figuring things out. Experience operating manufacturing equipment preferred. Comfortable learning new processes quickly. Self-starter who does not need constant supervision. Positive attitude during changing priorities common in startup environments. Reliable, hardworking, and willing to do what it takes to build something meaningful. Forklift experience a plus. Electrical, maintenance, welding, or fabrication skills are a plus. Wire & cable, extrusion, converting, metals, or industrial manufacturing experience highly valued. Why This Role Is Different Be one of the first people in the plant.
