Temp To Full-Time Beyond TalentEdge has a partner with a manufacturing company with 170 years of success in the metals industry. This role is a temp to hire opportunity for a Saw Operator who will be required to have full understanding of the company, safety, customer, inspection, etc. specifications and procedures. Responsibilities:
Prepare and record journal entries in accordance with GAAP Using Air operated hand tools Working with high temperature equipment and tools Use of various measuring instruments including protractor, scale, calipers and micrometers Forming equipment such hydraulic forming presses Band saws Debur machines Drill presses
Desired Skills and Qualifications:
Practical experience with sound technical skills, analytical ability, decisive, good judgment, and strong operational focus. 1-3 years' experience working in a manufacturing environment Results and solution-oriented Ability to lift 25 lbs consistently Ability to stand for long periods of time Production quality assessment; producing quality parts within company/customer specifications, making adjustments as necessary. Record production data as required such as: quality, labor reporting, manufacturing time, scrap, and downtime information Competent in product evaluation, following work orders, reading blueprints and verifying dimensions with precise measuring tools. Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions in written, oral, or diagram form
Salary & Schedule:
$21.00-22.00 per hour
Schedule:
