In this role, you will be responsible for operating a variety of machinery and equipment to produce high-quality products efficiently and safely. The ideal candidate will possess strong mechanical aptitude, familiarity with CNC programming, blueprint reading, and a solid understanding of manufacturing processes. Responsibilities Operate and monitor various manufacturing machines including CNC milling machines, CNC lathes, stamping presses, flexo presses, press brake machines, and CNC programming equipment. Set up machinery according to specifications using hand tools, calipers, micrometers, and precision measuring instruments. Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing) to ensure accurate fabrication and assembly. Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting on equipment such as Fanuc controls, programmable logic controllers (PLCs), and CAM programming systems. Handle materials safely within the warehouse environment, utilizing forklifts and materials handling equipment as needed. Conduct quality control checks using calipers, micrometers, and other precision tools to ensure products meet specifications. Assist in fabrication processes including welding, tooling setup, and assembly line operations. Maintain a clean and organized work area adhering to safety standards and factory protocols. Support packaging and shipping operations by preparing finished goods for delivery. Qualifications Proven experience operating manufacturing machinery such as CNC milling machines, CNC lathes, stamping presses, flexo presses, press brake machines, or similar equipment. Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to read blueprints and technical drawings accurately. Familiarity with Fanuc controls, CAM programming, CNC programming concepts, and PLC systems. Experience with quality measurement tools including calipers, micrometers, and other precision instruments. Knowledge of fabrication techniques such as welding and tooling setup. Ability to use hand tools effectively in assembly line or fabrication tasks. Basic math skills necessary for measurements and calculations related to machining. Prior factory or manufacturing facility experience preferred; warehouse experience is a plus. Proficiency in SolidWorks or CAD software is advantageous for design interpretation. Understanding of GD&T principles for quality assurance purposes. Strong safety awareness with adherence to factory safety protocols.
