$22-$28/hr.
Shift:
Monday-Thursday, 6:00pm-6:00am Position Summary The Hydromat Operator is responsible for the setup, operation, and maintenance of rotary transfer (Hydromat) machines used in high-volume precision metal machining. This role ensures consistent product quality, maximizes machine uptime, and supports production targets through effective troubleshooting, tooling adjustments, and quality control. Key Responsibilities Set up, operate, and monitor Hydromat rotary transfer machines for production runs Perform offsets, tooling adjustments, and minor program changes to maintain quality and efficiency Read and interpret blueprints, part drawings, and process documentation Inspect finished parts using precision measuring tools (micrometers, calipers, bore gauges, etc.) Identify and troubleshoot machine or process issues to minimize downtime Perform routine preventive maintenance and maintain clean, organized workstations Accurately record production data, inspection results, and machine performance Follow all safety, quality, and operational procedures Required Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent Experience operating CNC machines in a manufacturing environment Mechanical aptitude and problem-solving ability Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-volume production environment Strong attendance and reliability Willingness to work overtime as needed Ability to work effectively in a team setting Preferred Qualifications 3+ years of CNC machining experience Direct experience operating Hydromat or similar rotary transfer machines Strong blueprint reading and interpretation skills Solid communication skills Basic math proficiency Physical Requirements Regularly required to stand, walk, and use hands for extended periods Frequent bending, reaching, kneeling, and crouching Ability to lift up to 50 lbs regularly and up to 100 lbs occasionally Must have close and distance vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus The United Green is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
