Job Description
Responsible for scrap, efficiency, and product quality. Set-up and operate blow molding machines, and supporting equipment, according to product specifications and as scheduled, in a timely manner. Conduct routine quality testing of product as specified. Train for routine machine maintenance, and troubleshooting, to make repairs, as directed. Carry out scheduled preventative maintenance (PM) work to machine. Responsible for printing and supplying correct parts labels for the product. Schedule the supply of all raw materials, packaging materials, and supplies to the machine from the warehouse. Ensure that quality standards are upheld and that any suspect or defective product is reported to be placed on hold for review and decision. Fill in and relieve for other production floor positions as assigned. Assist in the training of other personnel in proper maintenance, operation, and set-up of equipment according to approved company procedures. Accurately complete all documentation. Other responsibilities and projects, as assigned.
