Paint Supervisor Summary Operate and maintain machinery equipped with compressed-air spray nozzles and robots to coat products with paint, cure/bake product, and dump product into bags by performing the following duties, Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

• Pour premixed paint into reservoir for painting and clean paint reservoir after lot is complete.
• Mix paint to formula or customer specified request.
• Place paint racks onto conveyor or onto transfer table that carries them into machine.
• Mix paints with thinner solution according to formula.
• Monitor robots and quality-inspect robot performance.
• Remove fasteners from the conveyor belt; package and palletize finished product.
• Operate all machine computers.
• Set up pumps, hoses, and spray guns.
• Understand the complete painting process.
• Perform and document daily/preventive maintenance per schedule (cleaning, inspection, lubrication, filter/line checks, and basic adjustments) to ensure safe operation, consistent product quality, and optimal equipment uptime; report abnormal conditions and coordinate repairs as needed.
• Problem-solve by tracking process steps from start to finish.
• Manage and organize spare parts for machine.
• Manual operation of oven.
• Serve as a backup for other paint processes (manual spray painter, dumper, manual paint mixer) and perform other duties as needed. Competencies To perform the job successfully, an individual should demonstrate the following competencies:
