Job Description

Machine Operator | Blanchard | Join our positive work environment The Blanchard Operator plays a key role in producing highquality parts by grinding components flat and parallel to customerspecified thickness and finish requirements. This position supports safe operations, ontime delivery, and continuous improvement by maximizing firstrun quality and meeting router specifications. If you enjoy handson machining, precision work, and being part of a team that values safety and quality, this role offers a solid opportunity in a stable manufacturing environment. What You'll Do Review routers, blueprints, specifications, and work orders to determine proper machining sequences Set up Blanchard grinding machines by positioning parts using blockins and angle blocks Adjust and regulate machine controls to achieve required thickness and finish Monitor operations, inspect parts, and identify defects to maintain quality standards Troubleshoot production issues and adjust processes to meet customer specifications Perform scheduled preventive maintenance and assist with troubleshooting equipment issues Notify supervision when additional resources or repairs are needed Meet daily production schedules and quality expectations Accurately complete production and quality documentation Communicate effectively with teammates to maintain workflow continuity Actively participate in continuous improvement and safety initiatives What You Bring EducationKnowledge High School Diploma or GED required 1-3 years of manufacturing or machining experience preferred Basic reading and math skills (minimum 8thgrade level) Understanding of manufacturing quality requirements Physical Requirements Ability to lift and carry items weighing up to 50 pounds Ability to work on your feet in a production environment
