Utility Operator

Job Title:

Utility Operator | $18.00-19.00 HR Job Summary First shift (Mon-Fri, 6:00am-4:30pm) contract-to-hire role supporting multiple areas in a graphite manufacturing facility. This is a flexible, floater position assisting with light assembly, sanding/finishing, shipping, material prep, and basic machine operation. The role includes inspecting parts, maintaining inventory and documentation, and working in a safety-focused, dusty environment. Key Responsibilities

• Perform light assembly, sanding, deburring, and polishing tasks
• Assist with shipping, packing, and staging orders
• Support inventory, cycle counts, and material prep for machinists
• Learn and operate manual machines and perform basic part inspection
• Complete production and quality documentation
• Lift up to 50 lbs and support multiple departments as needed
• Maintain a clean work area and follow all safety procedures Requirements
• Manufacturing or industrial experience preferred
• Comfortable working in a dusty graphite environment
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs consistently
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions
• Reliable attendance and steel toe boots required Work Environment / Perks

Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $19.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
