Role:
The NSI P4 Assembly position is a critical role focused on the precise assembly and integration mechanical components within a classified and secure environment. The primary objective is to ensure that all assemblies meet stringent quality and performance standards, contributing directly to the successful deployment of advanced systems. This role requires meticulous attention to detail, adherence to strict protocols, and the ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team. The successful candidate will be responsible for interpreting technical drawings, performing detailed assembly tasks, and conducting thorough inspections to verify compliance with specifications. Ultimately, this position supports the organization's mission by delivering high-quality assemblies that meet both customer and regulatory requirements.
Minimum Qualifications:
Experience in mechanical assembly, preferably in a high-reliability or classified environment. Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and schematics. Strong manual dexterity and attention to detail. U.S. citizenship and ability to obtain and maintain a security clearance.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience using precision measurement tools and inspection equipment
Responsibilities:
Assemble mechanical components according to detailed technical drawings and work instructions. Perform in-process and final inspections to ensure assemblies meet quality and performance standards. Maintain accurate documentation of assembly processes, inspections, and any deviations encountered. Collaborate with engineering and quality assurance teams to resolve assembly issues and implement improvements. Adhere to all safety, security, and compliance protocols, including handling of sensitive or classified materials.

The required skills enable the candidate to accurately interpret complex technical documentation and execute precise assembly tasks, ensuring that all components fit and function as intended. Attention to detail and manual dexterity are essential for handling small parts and performing delicate operations without error.
